Pinky is a true foster success story. After being at the shelter for over six months, Pinky’s sweet constitution was nearly defeated, and he became shy and reclusive after months in a kennel. Fortunately, shelter staff were convinced of his potential, and in September, he went home with a volunteer. He has truly blossomed in foster care.
Pinky is all about play, play, play. He loves racing around the back yard, playing fetch, and trying out every toy in the toy box. Pinky is great with other dogs, both on and off leash, and would love to live in a multi-dog household. He does very well at the dog park and is off-leash reliable in open spaces. Pinky is potty trained and crate trained and knows the commands “sit,” “wait,” and “heel.” He enjoys meeting new people and is downright cuddly after a few minutes. And he’s handsome too, with a beautiful amber coat and eyes. He is a pit bull mix, around 15 months old and weighs 57 pounds. He is a gentle and sensitive dog who will thrive with a calm, patient handl er. To to see a video of Pinky, visit his posting under our adoptable animals.
