This lovely hound dog is Athena! She has been in foster for the last few weeks and we've learned more about her:
- gets along easily with 2 smaller dogs in the home
- Enjoys family gatherings- Thanksgiving was FUN!
- Fully potty trained, though needs encouragement to go out in the rain
- Not into fetch or playing with toys, but loves a good kong or bully stick.
- walking great on leash!
She seemed a little concerned at first when her fosters left her alone, but she's learning that people do come back after they go. She may need you to work up to longer absences, while she is getting settled in a new home routine.
Athena is around 6 years old and is 45 pounds. She's can't wait to meet you!
