Pet Adoption Day at the Zoo returns with Oakland Animal Services, Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter, East Bay SPCA, and NBC Bay Area & Telemundo to “Clear the Shelters” this August! Aiming to help find loving homes for animals in need, we’re excited to extend our message of humane care for ALL animals and responsible pet ownership through this event and to help dogs and cats get forever homes.
