Weighing in at 57 lbs, Popeye is an easygoing pup with a moderate energy level—great for a mix of adventures and chill days. Whether it's a hike, a run, or just hanging out in the yard chasing squeaky toys, Popeye’s your guy!
In his temporary foster home, he was quite the gentleman—house-trained, eager to learn, and very treat motivated. While he wasn’t crate-trained and doesn’t love being alone, he showed great progress when he knew his people were nearby. A work-from-home buddy or someone who’s home often would be Popeye’s dream match!
When it comes to other pets, Popeye’s dog-friendly with the right introductions and enjoys meeting other pups. He can be a bit forward when saying “hello” but quickly settles into play. He’s also curious but respectful around cats and can coexist peacefully with the right feline friend. Around kids, he’s curious and gentle, but as with all new introductions, slow and steady wins the race.
