Charmaine has a naturally cautious and shy side, but once she trusts you, her soft, affectionate nature truly shines. This girl recently enjoyed a spa day, and though she was a bit timid at first, she handled the whole experience like a champ. Volunteers say she often looks to her people for reassurance, making her an incredibly loyal companion for someone who appreciates a gentle soul.
On leash, Charmaine is a dream—easygoing and often checking back with sweet, soft eye contact. In the yard, she loves to explore independently, taking her time to sniff and soak up her surroundings. She’ll eventually come back over for pets, and once she’s comfortable, she’ll lean in, letting you know she’s ready for more attention. Charmaine’s a bit reserved with toys (tennis balls aren’t quite her thing), but she’ll happily keep you company as you relax together.
