The white dog in the photo is Ladybug, now known as Doodlebug or Lovebug! It is hard to believe that about 6 months ago, Oakland Animal Services took Ladybug from her owner for beating her with a lead pipe! He has been charged with animal abuse and Ladybug will never return to him. Huge thank you’s to all of the staff and volunteers who took care of Ladybug at the Shelter while she recovered from her injuries and we worked on finding a home for her. And, massive appreciations to Megan Alexander and Family Dogs New Life who worked so hard in placing her!
