It’s Chi Mania in Oakland, although you won’t find rampaging Chihuahuas – just dozens of well-mannered, impish dogs, both purebreds and mixes, available to adopt for a reduced fee of $35.
Bring the whole family and enjoy refreshments, face-painting, pint-sized dog antics, and more. The adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, a microchip, and vaccines. Dogs will be able to go home with you that day. Chi Mania takes place from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, September 6.
