As a Registered Veterinary technician, you will be providing paraprofessional medical care and treatment to the animals; monitoring the general health of the animal population; administering emergency first aid treatment; and assisting with surgery and medical examinations/treatment and follow-up care to animals in need; and performs related duties as assigned.
The Registered Veterinary Technician is a technical level classification that provides care and treatment to shelter animals. This position receives general supervision from the Veterinarian and may provide training to Animal Care Attendants.
