Meet Kom - the gentle giant who has been waiting for his furever family for far too long. Despite being blind, Kom's sweet personality shines brighter than the sun. He may be visually impaired, but he sees straight into your heart with his affectionate demeanor.
Kom's been with a few foster homes and they couldn't say enough good things about him. They describe him as a "big sweetheart" with a "wonderful happy-go-lucky attitude toward life". Even though he can't see, he loves being out and about, brushing lightly against his human's knee to stay on track. Kom's most recent foster mentioned that he is a great guy and learned the layout of the home in just a few days.
Not only is Kom a pro at navigating stairs, but he also knows basic commands like "sit" and "paw" which he does with enthusiasm! This 5-year-old, 90-pound boy is respectful and independent with other dogs and would love a comfy home where he can cuddle up with his human. He's been doing great with OAS alum pup Gracie at @adopt_me_oas! We think this video pretty much sums it up!
If you're looking for a loyal companion who will love you unconditionally, Kom is your guy. Imagine snuggling up with this gentle giant, feeling his warmth and hearing his contented sighs as you both drift off to sleep. Don't let his blindness stop you from seeing how wonderful he truly is. Give Kom the chance he deserves and adopt him today.
Kom spent time with a short term foster family that included a 6 year old child, and they got along great. We think Kom could do well in a home with children ages 5 and up, with adult supervision, of course!
