“Adventurous, sweet, friendly, and such a cutie!”
-Xander’s Foster Mom
Xander is a sweet and easy going guy that has a lot of that puppy energy, but if he's able to run and play for a bit, loves to cuddle up and sleep (either near you or in his crate). He's pretty good at going to the door when he needs to potty, though he likes best to do so in a yard. In a new place or meeting new people, he loves to sniff around and give his greetings.
His current foster is getting him used to the leash and a harness, and becoming more comfortable being alone and in his crate with the door closed. He has "sit" and "down" covered, and is working on "stay". He jumps when excited but responds to "off". He is food motivated and trains first thing in the morning with his breakfast kibble!
Xander has done well with other dogs, and would be happy living with a dog friend or being on his own. If you’re looking forward to a pup that is eager to be with you and learn, come meet Xander!
