Introducing Selena, a resilient pup who has overcome obstacles with grace. She came into our care with a serious eye issue which our vet staff deemed it's was best course of action to remove. And, when she first arrived in her foster home, she seemed sad and lacked energy, but within just two weeks, she transformed into a tail-wagging, hand-licking bundle of joy. Now, she can't contain her excitement when she sees her leash, eager for delightful walks outside.
Selena is great in a car, hopping in is a breeze! She remains calm and does not bark in the presence of other dogs. Even when a neighboring dog is just a house away, Selena shows no inclination to pull on the leash or engage in reactive behavior. She currently lives with four cats, Selena's behavior has been surprisingly incredible—she has shown no predatory instincts towards them. But we do recommend slow introductions.
Selena has discovered the joy of chasing a ball, which is adorable! And, this good girl has had zero accidents in the house. Selena is great at communicating her needs and has taken a liking to her human companions, even joining them in the bedroom. Although she prefers the coolness of the floor over her bed, she is a quiet girl who rarely barks.
Selena has her own preferences when it comes to food, being a picky eater. She enjoys home-boiled shredded chicken! Interestingly, she even prefers cat kibble over other options.
Selena is an incredibly sweet and gentle soul who has come a long way. She is ready to find a loving forever home that will appreciate her unique personality and give her the care she deserves. ♥️
