Kiko

Kiko is a petite shepardy type dog that seems like a real smarty pants! He appears to have some basic training already under his belt, and offers a really snappy "sit!" when prompted. He also knows "down," and volunteers notice that he is very gentle taking treats from fingers like a very polite boy. 

He is an energetic guy who will be eager for opportunities to exercise and explore his world with you. He will benefit from an adopter who is willing to dedicate to providing rewards based training as a way for him to learn more skills. He is not real comfortable meeting other dogs at this time and will bark at other dogs to create space. With time to decompress from shelter stress, he may be able to increase his ability to easily hang out with other respectful dogs after a slow introduction. Since he is such a sweet guy and eager to please, we think he will thrive with a kind and committed adopter willing to go at his pace. 

Kiko is about 50 pounds and around 2 years old.
