Introducing Barnaby, the social butterfly with a heart full of sweetness and a longing for attention and affection! This young and charming dog has a knack for making a beeline toward people, showering them with adoring gazes. Btw, we are finding out that Barnaby loves tennis balls. And, he loves to fetch LOVES to fetch!
Barnaby is not only adorable but also incredibly smart, making him a perfect candidate for positive-reinforcement training. He is highly motivated by treats and will eagerly participate in learning new skills.
While at the shelter, Barnaby has been observed learning valuable dog skills through interactions with other well-mannered dogs. However, at this time, we recommend that he be the only dog in his future home to ensure he receives the undivided love and attention he deserves.
Despite coming in with an eye injury, Barnaby is healing nicely and has quickly become a favorite among staff and volunteers. His sweet and affectionate nature has captured the hearts of everyone he meets. Barnaby has been sensitive to handling near his head and this has improved as his eye injury healed up. At this time, it would likely be best for Barnaby to go to a home with adults only or older (teenaged) children.
Barnaby is approximately a year and a half old and is eagerly awaiting a furever home where he can continue to blossom and share his love. If you're looking for a devoted companion to brighten your days, look no further than Barnaby! Adopt him today and embark on a journey filled with love, joy, and endless snuggles. ❤️
