Looking for a loving and playful companion that will turn heads and make you proud? Come meet Arcadia! This gorgeous young girl has all that Husky beauty but with a super soft and shiny coat, and without so much of that maintenance. She's around 2 years old, so her puppy energy is mellowing out, and she's a great size for spooning at a manageable 58 lbs.
This superstar is house-trained, crate-trained, great with kids, and generally friendly towards other dogs. 'Dia hasn't had much leash-walking training, so she'd really shine in a home with a yard for fetch, and regular opportunities to play with like-sized dogs. She prefers to be as close to her people as possible (like, in your lap please?), but will settle down at your feet for hours, or if necessary, in her crate, after only a little bit of complaining. She enjoys bones, toys, and food puzzles, and limits her chewing to appropriate items. But bringing you the ball (and also keeping it away from you) are her absolute favorite games, and she's definitely an athlete.
Like a lot of unemployed working breeds, 'Dia can be anxious at times, and in those moments she defaults to the tasks of her people: herding, chasing, and pulling at a leash. She'll need a home where she has daily opportunities to work that out in play and/or training to be her best self. She picks up new commands and routines very well when focused on getting treats or attention, so she should be a joy to work with. And she'll reward your efforts with all the full body dog hugs anyone could ever want!
