Dougie is a sweet and highly energetic boy who is getting very stressed in the shelter. His adorable gray noggin is reminiscent of a large velvet hippo's, and we think he's got tons of charm. Life in a kennel is hard on a fun, young guy like Dougie.
He loves being around humans and wants all the attention. He loves to fetch and brings the ball back for treats. He sits for treats and often shows off his “down” too.
When introduced to other dogs at the shelter, Dougie ran around and loved to wrestle and tumble with other doggie friends who enjoyed the same.
Recently, a volunteer described him as a goofy boy who is "easy on leash and gives hard kisses LOL." Dougie can get really excited and jump up a lot, so a home that would love to train this hunk would be a dream come true for him! Come meet handsome and joyful Dougie this weekend.
