Couscous

Everyone who encounters Couscous can't help but fall head over paws for this sweet and wiggly girl. Couscous is not just a happy dog—she's the embodiment of joy, with a tail that wags non-stop, and her entire body wiggles with happiness whenever she sees you.

Couscous had a rocky start at the shelter, initially terrified and taking time to build trust with volunteers. However, once she opened up, her sweet and friendly side stole the hearts of everyone around. The melting point? When her wiggles of happiness took over!

Nervous around new dogs initially, Couscous truly blossomed in a foster home, revealing a bouncy, playful, and chase-loving side with her canine companions. She enjoys rough and tumble play at times but is always respectful of others' preferences, avoiding hip checks and chest bumps for those not up for the challenge.

As a house guest, Couscous has been a delight, getting along famously with the two senior dogs in her foster home. Playgroup sessions at the shelter unveiled her love for chasing and zoomies, showcasing her impressive speed. Mostly house-trained, she's crate-friendly and happily indulges in non-hide chews and Himalayan cheese sticks for dogs. But her true passion? TOYS—squeaky, squishy, she loves them all!

Couscous is a generous soul, readily sharing treats, toys, and affection, making her an ideal addition as a second dog in a loving home. Despite her silly antics, she has a sensitive side, reacting to new situations, people, and sounds. Occasionally vocal, a distraction with treats easily shifts her attention.

Ready for a daily dose of wiggles, laughter, and canine companionship? Couscous is eagerly awaiting her forever home, where she can continue spreading joy and wiggles to everyone around!
