Boogie is a handsome (part-Pittie, part-Weimaraner?) 7-month-old pup that is ready for his forever family!
About Boogie:
- A total sweetheart that wants to be everyone’s friend! He likes to keep close to his people and has both a mellow and playful spirit.
- He is a proven family dog that gets along with toddlers and does well with all animals - has met cats, dogs, and rabbits!
- Would do well as either a solo dog or with a dog sibling that will continue to show him the dog ropes and doesn’t mind a few (or many) play sessions.
- Enjoys his walks and is progressing nicely with his leash skills. He can get distracted by friendly strangers that offer fun and pats but can be redirected with treats.
- Potty and crate-trained! Also wouldn’t mind sharing a bed with you
- Loves affection and a good sun bath.
As a young dog, Boogie is still learning about the world around him.
- He would greatly benefit from a puppy manners class to continue growing his skillset (he knows “sit” very well!).
- His pup curiosity has led to a history of eating things that he shouldn’t. It’s best to keep soft toys and other small items out of reach.
- Thrives on a specific type of dog food that keeps his digestive health on track, which he will need ongoing.
Will you be the sweetheart Boogie is waiting for? Join him on his journey and experience the unconditional love only a dog like Boogie can offer.
