Javelin

Javelin, as you would expect, is a long-bodied low-rider guy with a sweet face and very cute ears. He is still building confidence but clearly looking for human connection - are you his ideal plus one?

Javelin will need a patient, experienced adopter with a calm adults-only home. His people need to be willing to go at his speed to build trust and understand that, while he wants human attention, Javelin is still under-confident and will need time to decompress and bond. He has been shyly affectionate with volunteers in calm surroundings, walks well on leash, enjoys treats, and has enjoyed gentle play with dogs his size at the shelter. Javelin may do well with a compatible resident dog of similar size, or as a solo dog with compatible playmates.
