Bonita is a sweet and gentle young adult with a heart full of love to share. This medium-energy cutie adores her human friends and loves nothing more than hopping into your lap for snuggles and affection. At playgroup, she’s the definition of easygoing—relaxed, playful, and always a joy to be around. Bonita would thrive in a home with another gentle, social dog or as your solo sidekick with appropriate doggy friends.

While she may start off a little shy, Bonita warms up quickly with patience and sweet talk. She already knows “sit,” takes treats politely, and is eager to learn more with positive reinforcement training. Bonita does have a playful streak—she’s been known to scale a chain-link fence—so a secure yard and some supervision are a must for this adventurous girl!

Bonita would do best with adopters who can provide her with structure, consistency, and plenty of love to help her build confidence. She’s a great fit for dog-savvy families with older kids (12+).
