Snuggie is a young and gentle 65-pound German shepherd mix looking for a calm, loving home where she can feel safe and secure. Though initially nervous, she’s now all about cuddles and sweet moments. This affectionate girl loves scritches and treats, and once she’s comfortable, she’ll give kisses! She’s not interested in toys but is very treat-motivated and gentle when taking them.
On a recent field trip, Snuggie was a mellow traveler, whining a bit at first but quickly calming down. On leash, she was easygoing, with just occasional pulls when curious. She showed interest in people, sometimes seeking pets but also content to be left alone. She was neutral to passing dogs, only showing tension when they got too close. While curious about small animals, she didn't show prey drive and preferred to investigate at her own pace.
In shelter playgroups, Snuggie has started playing nicely with other dogs. She’s particularly fond of gentle playmates, offering playful bows and skittering around with loose body language. She would do well in a home with well-matched dog friends who understand her needs, but she would also be content as a solo dog if you’re ready to give her all your love and attention.
Snuggie could be a wonderful companion for someone who can offer patience and understanding. If you’re looking for a sweetie who’ll melt your heart with her snuggles and kisses, Snuggie is the one for you!
