Jax

Jax may be a poodle mix but he’s got the cool guy swagger that says he doesn’t care that he’s so handsome. This long-legged boy loves a good romp in the yard and has generally gotten along with other dogs at the shelter. He is a sweet pup and friendly with volunteers, leaning in for pets and neck scratches—just wait until you feel his soft curly coat! Jax is treat-motivated, which should make training fun for him and his adopter.  He can also be vocal with his opinions, so is better suited to a house with a yard rather than apartment living. Jax is looking for a home with a patient adopter who will go slow when introducing him to new people and situations, as he can get nervous. Older dog-savvy children may be okay.
