Tiki is a 1-year-old, 16-pound Dachshund mix who's packed with love and a little bit of spunk! While she may be shy at first with unfamiliar faces, she warms up quickly with some gentle, patient handling. Once she feels comfortable, Tiki is affectionate and loving, especially with those she knows well.
In her foster home, Tiki has truly shined as a gentle and smart pup. She’s food-motivated, which makes her a quick learner who’s eager to please. During walks, she’s great on leash and is more interested in meeting people than anything else—no worries about squirrels or other distractions! This sweet girl has reportedly lived with a cat in the past, and currently gets along well with the senior resident dog.
Tiki loves to curl up on her foster mom's lap during the day, happily joining in on Zoom calls. At night, she sleeps quietly in her crate. While curious about her surroundings, Tiki doesn't get into trouble with chewing or getting into cabinets. She does have a big dog bark when someone comes to the door but will stop when asked.
Tiki is ready to share her big heart with the right family. Follow her in foster with @oas_foster_papa on Instagram! Click here to learn how to adopt and submit your adoption questionnaire.
