Meet Litebrite—a sensitive sweetheart with a name that sounds like a retro toy and a personality that just needs time (and love!) to shine. At 2 years old and 61 pounds, this red-coated cutie is showing more of her glowing self every day, especially after recovering from some tummy troubles in a loving foster home.
Litebrite is very sweet and gentle. Once she warms up (hot dog pieces are her love language), she becomes a total cuddlebug who wants to be right on your lap. She’s house-trained, crate-trained, and has never had an accident—even when she wasn’t feeling her best. She sleeps soundly in her crate and relaxes there when left home alone.
Litebrite walks nicely on leash now, though she may prefer quiet backyard sniff sessions over busy walks. She’s still shy and can be startled by loud noises, but with time and patience, she’s gaining confidence. She's gentle with other dogs and might thrive with a calm, confident dog friend—but she’d also be happy to soak up all your attention.
If you’re someone who sees the magic in the quiet ones, Litebrite might just be your hidden gem! Follow her in foster with @camp_mildred_ on Instagram, and click here to learn how to adopt and submit your adoption questionnaire.
