Introducing Harry Elephante – big heart, big head, and big time ready for love!
At around 2 years old and a solid 74 lbs, Harry Elephante is a lovable hunk of a pittie mix who’s equal parts gentle soul and wiggly goof. He may start off a little shy, but this boy warms up quickly—especially when treats and affection are involved. (And yes, he definitely knows how to “sit” for snacks.)
Harry prefers calm introductions and does best when given time to settle into new spaces. Once he’s comfortable, he blossoms into an affectionate companion who enjoys attention, praise, and a bit of play. He’s got some youthful energy and enthusiasm (especially when toys come out), but he’s easy to redirect and eager to please.
While he’s still building confidence after a rough start—he came to us with some healing wounds from a past dog incident—Harry has shown himself to be calm and independent around other pups. He might do well with a well-matched dog friend or be perfectly happy as your one-and-only couch co-pilot.
Looking for a big softie with the best name in the game and a heart to match? Harry Elephante is waiting to meet you at Oakland Animal Services!
