Sparkles

This sweet young pittie mix is 54 pounds of pure love and snuggles! Sparkles is an affectionate girl who’s happiest when she’s by your side—or better yet, in your lap! She’s known around the shelter for her soft cuddles, polite manners, and her sweet habit of leaning in for hugs. Sparkles enjoys spending time with other gentle or independent dogs in playgroups, but she’d also be perfectly content as your one-and-only best friend.

On a recent field trip, Sparkles showed just how lovely she really is. She hopped right into the car without hesitation, and though she was initially excited, she settled into a loose-leash walk like a pro. She ignored small animals, didn’t react to passing strangers, and was calm and curious around other dogs. At a pet store bath stop, she was tolerant and composed through a full bath and blow dry! This girl is all about cuddles, kisses, and calm vibes. She’s treat-motivated, sweet as can be, and would make a wonderful addition to a loving home.
