Logan

Logan is a 2-year-old, 96-pound gentle giant who’s equal parts goofball and cuddlebug. This German Shepherd mix came to the shelter after being hit by a car, and while he’s still healing from an incomplete leg fracture, his spirit hasn’t skipped a beat. He recently spent some time in a temporary foster home, where he proved to be a sweet, affectionate companion.

Logan is playful, food-motivated, and smart—a great combo for ongoing training and enrichment. He loves belly rubs, tossing around his favorite sticks, and lounging in the yard. He’s done well with cats and other gentle dogs, and has shown himself to be friendly and social with new people.

Logan is a sensitive soul, but he can also be mouthy when overstimulated or when being corrected. He’ll need structure, consistency, and guidance from experienced handlers.
