Dear potential adopters, we are Norah’s foster family and we know you will fall in love with her as much as we have.
Norah was scared and shut down when she came to us. Within a couple of days, she became a lap dog who loves to hug us with her little front legs. Within a few days, she eagerly followed her foster brother out and about in the world she once thought to be scary. And within a week, she was romping around outside, playing fetch and having zoomies.
At home, she is quiet, cuddly, and a great work-from-home companion. She just wants to by your side but is not worried when left alone for a couple of hours. She is crate trained, sleeps soundly through the night and is very food motivated. She is cooperative for baths, nail trims, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing. Outside, she walks well on leash. Though she is nervous around dogs she doesn’t know, she doesn’t react when they pass.
It has been a joy to see her transform into a happy dog. We are so proud of her progress. She would do best in a home in a quiet neighborhood with another confident but independent doggie sibling and adopters who are willing to keep introducing her to new experiences at her own pace.
Norah is around 4 years old and weighs 40lbs.
