This beautiful gentle girl is quickly becoming a staff & volunteer favorite and we are loving seeing her gain confidence in approaching new people and things! One of our volunteers took her out for a hike and she was calm and quiet in the car, and enjoyed sniffing the trails and getting some exercise. She's a smart and easy going pup that seems like she will pick up new skills easily with some consistent training. Rewards based training will go a long way in helping her gain confidence in the best ways to navigate her world.
Spirit is more interested in gentle and calm interactions with other dogs, she is not a rowdy player. She could do well in a home with a calm and respectful dog, or could be your only pet and enjoy walks and easy going interactions with her dog friends. She is around 8 months old and is 40 pounds.
