Looking for a small dog with a big heart? Meet Jasmine! Part terrier, part chihuahua, and all legs, this fun-loving girl enjoys fetching, playing with her toys, belly rubs, wrestling with her foster dog sibling, and cuddle time with her foster mom. At 4-1/2 years old, she is still a playful pup yet calms down well when playtime is over.
Jasmine had a staycation over the holidays with an active family with kids, a senior dog, and even cats—and she did great! Her holiday foster mom says: “How Jasmine hasn't been snatched up is a mystery! She managed the chaos like a champ! Four kiddos running around, and she was a gem. And she kept the kids occupied with playing fetch.”
While she can be a little shy with new people, Jasmine warms up quickly. She is treat-motivated and is working on loose leash walking. She is house-trained, content to hang out in her crate when home alone and is a total pro when it comes to car rides. As her foster mom reports, Jasmine is overall a very good girl!
Jasmine has an easily manageable eye condition called IMMK that requires ointment twice daily. The application process takes less than two minutes and Jasmine is a total trooper, easily persuaded by treats and love.
