Meet Anaken, the spirited 1-year-old pup with boundless energy and a heart full of love! Anaken is a quick learner and comes when called. He's already mastered "sit" for treats, showing off his smart side.
With volunteers, he enjoys running around, checking in for treats, and enjoying some well-deserved pets. This snuggly sweetheart even hopped up on a volunteer's lap for some affectionate licks.
One of the volunteers mentioned, "Anaken approached me with a friendly tail wag and soaked up chin scratches. But what surprised me was when he hopped up on the bench next to me, offering gentle kisses on my cheek. He's a charmer!"
Once seated beside me, Anaken became almost snuggly, wagging his tail with every gentle touch.
He can be a bit playful and may jump around during playtime. This young pup appreciates a calm and patient approach as he can get overwhelmed quickly.
Due to his strong prey drive, it's best if Anaken finds a home without cats or chickens.
