Called Miss Lady by her foster family, this sweet and adorable girl will make any household happier! Her foster family has loved spending time with her as she was such a wonderful companion.
- Cuddly, full of love: Once she is comfortable in a space, she is quick to find someone to curl up next to. she also loves pets on her belly and chin — you are sure to win her love easily with those!
- Playful and excitable: Enjoys playing tug of war, being chased, and play nibbling if allowed. her eyes light up and her tail wags furiously when people are nearby and willing to play with her or take her on a walk!
- Gentle and respectful: Lady takes treats gently and is willing to be held and cuddled by new people and old. during mealtimes, she is good about not whining and finding her own space to be.
- Food motivated: Loves wet food, sweet potatoes, beef jerky treats, and more! she has already learned “sit” and started to learn “stay” with treats in front of her.
- Easy on leash: For the most part, Lady walks at a moderate pace — she doesn’t stop too often and instead seems to enjoy getting her steps in! She can be a bit reactive to other dogs and people (prior to smelling them), but she normally will softly growl first as a warning before barking, at which point her foster family was able to either direct her a different way or hurry her along.
Lady Bunting is a little timid at first and we think she will do best in a home without small kiddos. Lady Bunting is available for adoption by appointment so send in an inquiry to adoption@oaklandsanimals.org.
