Hi, I’m Sprinkle. I wish I could tell you I’m bold and confident, but right now, I’m just trying to make sense of this big, unfamiliar world. The shelter is loud, full of new faces and sounds, and sometimes, it all feels like too much. When I meet new dogs, I lower my head, roll onto my back, and quietly let them know—I’m not here to cause any trouble. I just need a little time.

But even though I’m unsure, I want to trust. I want to feel safe. And when I get a little space and kindness, I start to open up. In playgroups, I move gently, offering soft licks to my new dog friends, and when I feel brave, I even try a little playful bounce. It’s small, but it’s a start.

I’m only seven months old, with so much love inside me just waiting to come out. I just need someone patient, someone gentle, someone who will show me that the world isn’t so scary after all. Maybe that’s you. Maybe you’re the one who will help me feel safe, teach me that I belong, and give me the home I’ve been waiting for.
