At 5 years old and 72 pounds, Uni is a sweet, snuggly pittie mix who’s all heart! She’s thriving in her foster home, where she’s proven to be a gentle, affectionate, and low-maintenance house guest. Uni is housetrained, sleeps soundly through the night, and knows basic commands like “sit” and “paw.” She can be picky about her food, and is learning to wait politely when excited. She walks well on leash, shows interest in other dogs but isn’t reactive, and rides calmly in the car.
Affection is Uni’s love language—she leans in like a warm, squishy blanket and wants nothing more than to be near her people. She’s a pleaser at heart and loves close contact, especially on the couch (where she prefers to nap). Uni can get overly enthusiastic sometimes, so she may do best in a home without small kids. Whomever can handle her big love and occasional “lap launch” will be LOVED and LUCKY!
Uni would thrive in a quiet home—whether solo or with a calm dog buddy. She can be left alone for a few hours, and white noise helps her relax. She would be a great match for someone retired, working from home, or just looking for a loyal sidekick.
