At 6 years old and 68 lbs, Eclipse is a handsome Doberman mix who brings the great mix of sweetness, sensitivity, and sparkle. He may start off with those soulful, slightly worried eyes, but give him a moment (and maybe a treat or two), and you'll see his gentle, affectionate side shine bright.
Eclipse is moderately energetic—he enjoys playtime, especially with toys, and is a total champ at sit. He’s food-motivated and eager to learn, so with some continued positive reinforcement training, he’ll be showing off even more tricks in no time. Volunteers say he’s easy to handle on leash and loves exploring the world at a steady pace.
In playgroups, Eclipse took a few days to warm up but now engages in fun, chase-style play with his dog friends. He’s polite and low-contact, so he could thrive with a well-matched dog buddy or soak up the love as your one-and-only.
