Meet Stella – a sweet, petite star looking for her forever home! At 10 years young and just 42 pounds, Stella is a gentle, low-energy husky mix who is all about soaking up the simple pleasures in life—soft beds, sunny spots, and quiet companionship.
Stella has some age-related things going on, but none of it dims her gentle spirit or her love for the little joys—like easy strolls, mellow playdates, and affectionate head scratches. She’s been a lovely, polite guest in playgroups at the shelter and enjoys the company of other dogs who are calm and respectful like her.
Stella has adjusted well in several foster homes. She gets along with resident dogs and does great on walks. Her fosters report she has the calm, easy demeanor of a senior dog but the confidence and curiosity of a younger one.
