Meet Rambo — a gentle soul ready to find his safe place. At 3 years old and 46 pounds, Rambo is a stunning Husky/Doberman mix with a heart that’s been a little battered by life’s uncertainties. Right now, he’s feeling overwhelmed by the shelter environment — cautious with new experiences, nervous around other dogs, and still learning to trust the world around him.

Despite his fear, Rambo shows us little glimpses of the brave, loving dog he’s meant to be: he walks nicely on leash, takes treats gently, and tries his best even when he’s unsure. With the right person — someone patient, kind, and willing to give him time and space — Rambo has every chance to blossom into a devoted companion.

He’ll thrive in a calm, structured home where he can decompress and learn at his own pace. Rambo may prefer to be your one-and-only pup or could potentially do well with a very mellow, understanding dog friend.

Rambo isn’t looking for perfection — just someone willing to meet him where he is, and help him write his next chapter.
