Meet Dustin, a 3-year-old, 52-pound shepherd mix with a heart as big as his smile. This sweet, social boy came to the shelter as a stray with an injured leg, and has since become a proud (and very capable) tripawd. Don’t let the missing leg fool you - Dustin is still up for hikes, playtime, and plenty of zoomies.
Dustin is a lovable blend of sporty and snuggly. He’s just as happy out on a trail as he is curled up with his head in your lap for a movie night. In his foster home, he lives peacefully with a small dog and plays appropriately with plenty of breaks. He’s shown zero reactivity and only mild curiosity toward the cat.
He’s got a soft spot for people, and has been calm and patient meeting children. His foster thinks he’d be a great family dog. Dustin has some youthful energy and will benefit from continued training and socialization, but he’s off to a great start.
