Discovery is a tender-hearted companion with soft eyes and a gentle spirit. At 3 years old and 49 pounds, she’s a total Velcro dog—loyal, loving, and always close by your side (sometimes so close she bumps your leg!). She walks beautifully on leash, rarely pulling, and checks in often with a quiet nuzzle.
On a recent field trip, Discovery showed just how sweet and sensitive she is. She rode quietly in the car, gaining confidence as the ride went on, and explored city streets, parks, and even the post office with calm curiosity. She’s not reactive to bikes, kids, or strollers, and while she notices other dogs and squirrels, she mostly keeps her focus on her person.
In shelter playgroups, Discovery tends to keep to herself. She’s medium to low energy and would do well with an appropriately matched dog friend, or just soaking up affection as your one and only.
Discovery is still learning the basics and can be shy at first, but she’s incredibly sweet and eager to connect. With a patient, loving home, she’ll blossom into a devoted companion. Ready to discover your new best friend?
