Meet Ember, the gentle 4-year-old pup with awesome mesmerizing eyes colored like amber gem stones. Ember enjoys being pampered with pets and cuddles. She might even give you a few tender kisses in return! Volunteers at the shelter describe Ember as high-energy and playful, with a knack for chasing and wrestling with other dogs during playgroups. She's super responsive and would make an excellent hiking buddy. Ember is ready to be your adventure companion and loyal friend. Let's find her forever home where she can run, jump, and explore to her heart's content!
Ember went out on a few field trips and the reports are in!!!
Field Trip #1: According to the volunteer, Ember showed impeccable car manners, hopping right in and enjoying the ride. At Diamond Park, she hiked like a pro on a quiet trail, walking nicely with a loose leash. She was thrilled to be out and about and even tried to chase a squirrel, but all in silence. Ember might be a bit reserved with new faces, but her sweet nature shines through. She's treat-motivated and can be easily distracted, making her a joy to take on adventures.
️ Field Trip #2: A visit to Veterans Memorial Park on Bay Farm Island was another hit for Ember. She settled beautifully in the car again, and her leash skills are improving. She greeted strangers with curiosity and a wagging tail, showing off her friendly side. When encountering other dogs, she was excited but well-behaved. Even small animals piqued her interest, but she kept moving. Ember is learning cues like "sit" and is eager to please. During quiet moments, she's happy to cuddle on the grass. Our foster volunteer mentioned that Ember is a "really great dog"! ❤️
